Magni The Bison Tournament...Anti-Ranger? - Guild Wars Forums

I have tried since GWEN has come out to beat the tournament from Magmi the Bison with my ranger.. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!! I have even had a few friends try it and they say it is impossible to do it with a ranger to beat him.. My ranger can inflict huge damage but it seems to only tickle him and when it only takes 2 hits from him to kill your character then it is ridiculas to even try... I have aslo noticed as well as a few friends of mine have also noticed is that it seems almost anti-ranger in alot of things. I have beat the tournament on my warrior, necro, and my ele but I have yet to even come close with my ranger. WHATS THE DEAL HERE???????????

It's not impossible. I smacked him around with a Touch R/N just for fun, and because it's easy. Just interrupt bear form, or run around until it expires, then kill him. There's also loads of Ranger builds here:
